When our client The Media Group wanted roadshow stands set up and dressed against some tight timescales, they trusted us to deliver.
They needed the stands for their roadshow completed to an agreed high standard – this not only involved building the units, but putting up and dressing them too.
At a number of sites where our crew were deployed, we had to operate against some pressing deadlines. Media Group loved the fact that the Newlan Projects team could flex our crew to fit the job, meaning we were able to provide the precise numbers of people to complete the work on time and on budget.
A number of the sites we worked at were sizeable stadiums, where access wasn’t always easy, and included some venues where we had to carry stands up numerous flights of stairs. Working with our storage partner, Lewis Storage Solutions, we were able to accommodate not only fitting and dressing, putting up and taking down, but also storing equipment between events.
Managing director James Newlan said: “The aim was to make things as straightforward as possible for the sales team who were attending the roadshows. Our job was to make sure everything was set up and dressed so the team could go in and start selling immediately. Any time not spent selling costs them money, so having everything as it should be was of paramount importance so the sales team could start talking to their customers straight away.”
Newlan Projects recently moved to new, larger premises on the back of continued growth, including an associated 6,000 square foot warehouse (owned by our storage partner, Lewis Storage Solutions) gives us much greater capacity, and we are already storing equipment for Media Group ahead of next year’s roadshows. The installation and exhibitions services continue to grow, so our investment in new premises will benefit clients as we can take on bigger projects.
